Observatory Annual Report 2022 | Executive summary

The ‘One Health’ approach recognises that human, animal and plant health are interdependent and bound to the health of the ecosystems they
inhabit. The World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH, founded as OIE) promotes this concept through its own work and initiatives with
other international organisations. Through its Annual Report, the Observatory intends to provide an overview of the uptake of the One Health
approach by WOAH Members.
