Veterinary Legislation Identification Mission Report – Mozambique

At the request of WOAH”s Delegate for the Republic of Mozambique, WOAH conducted a Veterinary Legislation Support Programme (VLSP) Identification Mission in Maputo, Mozambique, from 5-9 October 2015.

Following on the recommendations of a 2008 PVS Evaluation Mission in Mozambique, the objectives of the VLSP Mission were to raise awareness of the importance of veterinary legislation for modern, effective operation of the veterinary services, review the principles for developing high-quality veterinary legislation and review the current status of the Member’s legislation relative to WOAH’s standards for veterinary legislation.
