Simulation exercise: Foot and mouth disease in Guyana
16 to 19 May 2023
Dr Dwight Walrond, Delegate to WOAH and Project Director of the National Dairy Development Programme of Guyana, informed WOAH that a simulation exercise for foot and mouth disease will take place from 16 to 19 May 2023 in Region 9.
The objective of the simulation exercise is to test our laboratory capability and connections with reference labs within the abovementioned region.
In addition to local observers, we are also utilizing the services of international organizations such as IICA, PAHO/WHO, FAO and CARICOM.
