Simulation exercise: Foot and mouth disease in Slovenia-2

Dr Simona Salamon, Deputy Director General, of the Veterinary Administration, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food of Slovenia, informed the OIE that a simulation exercise workshop on “foot and mouth disease and protection of animals during transport” will take place in her country from 7 to 10 June 2010.

Animal Health experts from Main Office, Regional Offices of the Veterinary Administration of the Republic of Slovenia (VARS) and Border Inspection Posts (BIPs), private practitioners, veterinarians from National Veterinary Institute (NVI) and long distance transporters will attend this workshop.
