Simulation Exercise: Swine disease in Argentina-2

Dr Jorge Nestor Amaya, President, National Agrifood Health and Quality Service (SENASA*), Argentina, informed the OIE that a “simulation exercise for the intervention of the emergency team responding to a swine disease” will take place from 21 to 24 September 2010 in Leandro N. Alem locality, Misiones province.

The aim of this simulation exercise, which will be conducted with the participation of professionals from this Service as well as from other Latinamerican countries, is to train agents of the emergency teams in the investigation and response procedure in case of an outbreak in swine population.
