Publications
Publications produced by the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) are a valuable source of information for the international scientific community and facilitate progress in veterinary medicine worldwide. They cover the full spectrum of animal health issues throughout the world and include periodicals, international standards, world conference proceedings, and publications dealing with important topical issues.

The majority of the titles published or co-published by the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) in English, French and/or Spanish are available online with open access on the Documentary Portal, which is managed by the WOAH Documentation and Archives Centre. To order print copies of back issues, please visit the Online Bookshop.

The Animal Echo
WOAH’s trilingual online knowledge-sharing space, The Animal Echo, brings you in-depth scientific research, thought-provoking articles, and experts’ voices and stories, with a view to enhancing individual and collective understanding of animal health and welfare.
Each trimester, our scientific articles offer in-depth insights on a preselected theme by authors engaged in animal, public and environmental health. Our blog posts provide additional perspectives on these topics and featured stories in the animal health and welfare sector.
We are always looking for fresh insights into the animal health sector. If you have an original scientific article proposal to share, please read our submission guidelines, then submit your pitch.
Special edition of the Review
Celebrating 100 years since the founding of WOAH, this special edition of the Review delves into the Organisation’s progress, ongoing challenges and its pivotal role in advancing the One Health approach.
This edition addresses each topic in two articles: a ‘looking back, looking forward’ perspective alongside an in-depth scientific ‘state of the field’ analysis of current challenges and developments.
